Modern Slavery Statement
Last Updated: 18 May 2026
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that WG Restorations & Pointing Specialist has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.
1. Our Business and Supply Chains
WG Restorations & Pointing Specialist is a specialist provider of masonry, lime pointing, and building services in the United Kingdom. Our supply chains include the sourcing of natural stone, traditional lime mortars, bricks, and general building materials, predominantly from UK-based quarries and suppliers.
2. Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and expect the same high standards from all our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners.
3. Due Diligence Processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we:
- Build long-standing relationships with local suppliers and make clear our expectations of business behavior.
- Expect our suppliers to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes.
- Reserve the right to terminate our relationship with any supplier if they breach this policy.
4. Risk and Compliance
We regularly evaluate the nature and extent of our exposure to the risk of modern slavery occurring in our supply chain. We do not consider that we operate in high-risk sectors or locations, as the majority of our sourcing and operations are confined to the UK construction industry.
5. Training and Awareness
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide relevant guidance to our staff. All employees are encouraged to raise any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery in any parts of our business or supply chains at the earliest possible stage.
6. Approval
This statement has been approved by the management of WG Restorations & Pointing Specialist and will be reviewed and updated annually.
